A new bride is selling several items from her wedding including her dress and wedding and engagement rings after discovering her husband’s secret life.
The bride, from Cork and known only as ‘Chloe’, was married just six months ago. Not long after the wedding she became suspicious that all wasn’t well in her relationship.
Her husband had become secretive and would get home from work late without a valid explanation. One night when he told her he was going to the gym she decided to follow him.
Rather than going to the gym, he went to a hotel car park. Chloe then watched as a man got into the car and exchange a hug and kiss with her husband.
When she later confronted him he revealed that he was gay. Chloe is now selling her wedding items to raise money to pay to have her marriage legally annulled.
Chloe’s mother told the Cork 96fm: “He revealed that he had been living a double life for quite some time and that he was in fact gay.
“He told my daughter that he had used her to cover up that he was gay as he did not want to reveal this to his family, his friends or his work colleagues.
“As you can imagine my daughter is devastated and so are our family.”
As well as her rings and wedding dress, Chloe is also selling a lace umbrella, and dynamite tiara and three purple bridesmaid dresses.
