Free glass of whiskey to customers across America from Bushmills

Irish whiskey lovers in America are in for a treat as one of the top whiskey makers in Ireland have a New Year gift in store.

Bushmills announced their ‘First Whiskey of 2021’ initiative which will see customers in the USA receive a free glass of whiskey in their local pubs.

Of course, the offer will be subject to when bars and pubs across the US are able to open due to covid restrictions, but the idea is for Bushmills to help US whiskey fans see in the new year.

The #FirstWhiskey comes at a time when venues across the States are in great need of support after a terrible year in 2020.

It is hoped that the move will prove to be both a nice New Year gift for the customer as well as a boost for local bars across the USA.

Bushmills will cover the cost of a glass of whiskey from the customer’s bar of choice which, if possible, can be redeemed in person – although it may also be possible to also receive a drink via takeaway or delivery.

The only request is that the customer makes their whiskey a Bushmills.

To redeem the offer, customers must be over the age of 21 and they will need to take a photograph of the receipt – which can be uploaded to the Bushmills website.

They will then be reimbursed up to $6.00 via Venmo, Paypal or Amazon.

The offer runs from 1st January until 18th March 2021 – so if customers with enough will power could wait all the way until St Patrick’s Day to enjoy their free whiskey.

The offer doesn’t include tax or tip and is not available in every US State.
