A trio of kind-hearted individuals formed a human barrier to escort a family of ducklings and their mother across a busy Dublin road.
The potentially deadly crossing was fraught with danger until the caring group spotted the situation and took action.
The three kind souls stepped into the road to halt the traffic and ushered the mother duck across, knowing that her chicks would follow.
The group co-ordinated the crossing with minimum fuss and happily saw all babies and mother safely arrive on the other side of the road so that they could continue their journey.
The incident happened to be spotted by a member of the team at the Leopardstown Inn across the street.
They recorded the sequence on their mobile phone and shared the video on Facebook.
Their description read: “It was a day for the ducks in Leopardstown and some lovely locals made sure this duck and her chicks safely crossed the road Not all heroes wear capes! Fair play #TheLep #randomactsofkindness”
