One lucky Aer Lingus passenger had a birthday to remember as she was serenaded mid-flight by Irish music legend Daniel O’Donnell.
The singer happened to be on the same flight as the birthday girl Annie.
He was asked by the cabin crew if he would lead the plane in a rendition of Happy Birthday for Annie, and of course nice guy Daniel was happy to oblige.
He stood at the front of the plane and was introduced over the speaker by one of the air stewardesses.
Daniel then led the other passengers and crew, in a performance of Happy Birthday for the stunned Annie.
He even knelt down to give her a kiss and a cuddle and wish her a great day.
