When Colin Farrell was a late teen he was brought in for questioning as a suspect in an attempted murder.
Or at least that’s what he told fellow actor Vince Vaughn on a hilarious edition of the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The Hollywood actors were on the hit US show to promote the second season of their critically acclaimed series True Detective which starts next week.
Fallon thought it was a great opportunity to test out their real life detective skills and had them each read out a statement about an episode from their past.
The Irish actor chose from two envelopes, one with a real story from his past and the other with something made up.
Farrell then said that as a late teen he was brought in for questioning as a suspect in an attempted murder.
