The band were performing in Cassidy’s and were thrilled to have such a music legend in their audience.

They revealed that Christina was great fun and happy to pose for selfies with the locals.

She also offered some expert backing vocals as the pub roused up in an epic sing song to end the band’s set.

Rake The Ashes posted a picture of themselves posing alongside Christina and said: “Very Proud tonight that Christina Aguilera popped in to see us in Cassidy’s. A nice sing-song at the end of the night ended a great night.”

The Genie in a Bottle singer has Irish heritage herself, and on her last trip to Ireland she tweeted a photo to express her pride at being back in the land of ancestors.
