The trailer for the latest Marvel movie is out and fans cannot wait to see how Irish star Barry Keoghan performs in his role as Druig.
It is the Dublin star’s first appearance in the Marvel franchise although his character is well established in the comic book stories.
The movie features several big names of Hollywood including Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek who play the roles of Thena and Ajak respectively.
The trailer certainly whets the appetite for the whole film as the band of Eternals living undetected on Earth must fight to protect humanity from the evil group of Deviants who want to take over.
The movie is the 26th edition in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and with the Walt Disney streaming service owning the distribution rights it is set to be the biggest Marvel film yet.
As fans begin to get excited about its release, Keoghan jokingly tweeted that ‘Druig is ready’ in response to a promotional tweet posted by Entertainment Weekly.
Keoghan is thrilled to have landed a role in such an iconic movie and hopes to do the character justice in his performance.
He has rose in stature in recent years with role in hit movies including Dunkirk and Black ’47.
