Take a look at Adare Manor – named the world’s best hotel in the Virtuoso ‘Best of the Best’ awards at Las Vegas in 2018.
The five-star hotel in Limerick underwent a 21-month refurbishment and extension. The revamp included adding 42 new luxury rooms, a ballroom and a golf course designed by the renowned architect Tom Fazio.
Virtuoso was very complimentary about the refurb in its report. It said: “Maintaining the estate’s neo-Gothic architectural heritage and stonework was but a small portion of the fantastic overhaul.”

The awards shortlists are nominated by its readers, and then they vote to decide a winner.
