A stunning mansion in Ireland has been named as one of the five most romantic hotels in the world for 2021 by a leading travel website.
The list from Big 7 travel includes hotels from all four corners of the world, as far afield as Europe, America, Africa and Australasia.
The hotels listed came in a variety of different forms including mansions, island resorts and farmhouse. They also had fantastic features including, stunning city or beach views, rooftop pools, wildlife adventures – and even an underwater bedrooms.
Ireland’s entry into the top ten was the magnificent Adare Manor.
The Co Limerick mansion underwent extensive refurbishment in 2017, and can boast a La Mer spa, pool and relaxation area, golf course, a cinema and a ballroom.
There are also numerous walking trails and walled gardens added within the grounds of the hotel.
In 2018, Adare Manor was named the world’s best luxury hotel in the Virtuoso ‘Best of the Best’ awards in Las Vegas.
