On Shrove Tuesday it is traditional for people to enjoy sweet fillings in their pancakes such as sugar, lemon, fruit and ice cream.

4 medium sized potatoes, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2/3 cup milk
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon butter
5oz smoked salmon
1 fresh Lemon , cut into quarters
