Cloud control – Hozelock Cloud Controller including hub

This new automatic watering system allows you to water your garden through an easy-to-use App, whether you’re at work or on holiday, via your smartphone. It uses a low-power, long-range radio signal to connect to the internet while the free App eliminates any need for complex timer programming. The device, which won the RHS product of the year award at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show, can even suggest changes to watering patterns based on local weather data.

Mow flow – Robomow RC304

Sit back while this robotic lawnmower does the work. A wire is laid around the edge of your lawn which acts like an invisible wall confining the robot to the area you want mown, using sensors to stay within the designated area. Robomow will automatically plan a flexible cutting schedule, managed on the mower or through the app. It covers up to 3,500 square metres – nearly an acre – while its Bluetooth connecting app allows you to check battery life, see when it’s next due to mow or edge the lawn, while updates tell you mowing progress and charging status. It also offers virtual support, providing remote online diagnostics and online tech fixes.
