His strongest point is photoshop/post processing and has some experience in printing too working with screenprinting and digital laser printers .
He also shoots film on older canon cameras like the ae-1 so will have a good mix of work on show. Fashion photography is his favorite subject to photograph but living in County Kerry one cannot completely ignore the beautiful and awe inspiring landscape and surroundings.
Paul Woods’ main area of practice is photography but also has been published as an illustrator of spanish poetry a collaboration with an American poet and worked on many collaborative short films and animations.
Having a background in fine arts and computing his interests often collide in a digital space where photography, music , video and animation are the best medium of expression : to captivate the widest possible audience should be every artist motto.

Conor Pass, Dingle Bayside by Paul Woods
Conor pass Dingle Bay side , October around 6pm , 1d canon, Tripod and exposure bracketing for HDR – using a sigma 10-20 (I was testing on loan from a friend) which is not meant for the 1d system’s APS H sensor as it vignettes unless zoomed a little. October is a great time to shoot with autumnal colours, dramatic atmosphere and the sun set is not too late.
Molls Gap by Paul Woods
Molls Gap, August around 9.30pm, 1ds mk ii – This camera his very good at long exposures as opposed to the ccd on the 1d, Cokin P system filters soft graduated ND around 3 min exposure.
