Take a video tour of Belfast with Richard E Grant

Veteran actor Richard E Grant has created a video showcasing the city of Belfast and the wonderful attractions on offer for visitors to the Northern capital.

The experienced star teamed up with Tourism Ireland to make the short clip that sees him visit some of Belfast’s most iconic landmarks.Take a video tour of Belfast with Richard E Grant

Grant opens the video by saying: “Belfast rich in heritage, culturally vibrant, diverse and captivating at every turn, from the classical to the contemporary, to the mythical and magical, there’s much to explore here each time I visit and it serves its hospitality in no half measures, this city has something for everybody.”

He visits the Titanic Belfast museum, where there are numerous displays and interactive exhibits about the construction of the ill-fated ship.

Grant is then taken on a food tour of the city with his guide Caroline. The pair begin at St George’s Market before moving on to a chocolate factory where Grant helps create some of the delicious treats.

Next stop is the Cathedral Quarter, which as Grant explains, is home to a wide range of arts and performances throughout the year.

The video finishes with Grant taking a walk through the Botanic Gardens and telling viewers: “Here in Belfast, countless pleasures await you.”
