Irish mansion Adare Manor reopened its doors in autumn 2017 after undergoing an extensive refurbishment and expansion.

The five-star resort in Adare, Co. Limerick, had been closed since January 2016 as the owners took on a huge conservation and upgrade programme.

This included adding a new 40-bedroom wing, a new spa and pool, a cinema and a ballroom with capacity for around 350 guests.

There had also been major work done to improve the 840-acre estate and golf course.

The refurbishment budget wasn’t released but owners JP McManus, his wife Noreen and the McManus family have certainly put significant sums of money into the hotel and estate after buying it for a reported €30 million in 2015.

Prices for rooms will start at €325 per night but signature suites are priced from €1,995. A Dunraven Stateroom will cost €1,095 per night.

It certainly looks a magnificent place to spend a night or two if the newly released video is anything to go by.
