Brilliant soccer video shows off Ireland’s beautiful landmarks

Great soccer video from Tourism Ireland ahead of Euro 2016

A brilliant new video from Tourism Ireland ties in perfectly with Euro 2016 by taking a skilful soccer player on a tour of Ireland’s beautiful landmarks.
Both the Republic and the North of Ireland will be sending a team after successful qualifying campaigns and both sides of the border are well represented in Tourism Ireland’s video.

The video features two soccer wizards – Jamie Knight of Northern Ireland and Dara Coyne of the Republic. Their mesmerising skills are only matched by the stunning scenery and breath-taking landmarks that act as the backdrop for their talents.

The lads’ tour of Ireland sees them showcasing their skills at the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Powerscourt House and Gardens, Titanic Belfast, the Guinness Storehouse, the Giant’s Causeway and the Cliffs of Moher.
Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland, said: “There is huge interest and excitement around Euro 2016, so we’ll be pulling out all the stops over the coming weeks to capitalise on the tourism potential of the tournament.
“With both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland qualifying, it’s a superb opportunity for us to deliver the message that the island of Ireland is a fun and diverse destination, offering a variety of iconic experiences, and that there has never been a better time to visit.”
Good look to both teams in the Euros. There are sure to be plenty of thrills and spills in the weeks ahead and if our teams can show some of the flair shown by Jamie and Dara in Tourism Ireland’s video then they might just be in with a chance.
