Irish folk singer Nathan Carter has a number one fan in the form of five-year-old superstar Oscar Everitt.
Oscar, from Co Louth, spends all his free time watching and impersonating the Liverpool born singer.
His aunt Leanne recorded some of his performances and Oscar’s showmanship is evident from the start.
He also has a great voice and passion for what he does.
Leanne spoke to the Irish Mirror about Oscar’s love for Nathan. She said: “He watches Nathan morning, noon and night. Every day he wears his ‘Nathan Carter’ clothes.
“I brought him to Nathan’s concert in the 3Arena in April and he copies everything he does since.
“For Christmas 2015, all he asked Santa for was an accordion and instead of asking for toys for birthday presents, he instead looks for Nathan Carter ‘fancy clothes’.
“Whenever we have family visiting, Oscar practices his show and invites us to his concert, but he doesn’t always need an occasion!
“He is great at audience interaction telling them when they can sing and he even brings a child up from the audience – this is always his two-year-old brother Felix.
“He even does costume changes like Nathan!”
There is certainly a superstar in the making there. Leanne added that it would be a dream come true if Oscar could meet his idol when he visits Drogheda later this year. Oscar will of course be in the audience singing along with Nathan.
