Irish hotel makes unusual St Patrick’s Day offer

A hotel in Ireland has come up with an unusual way to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, which will be useless for most of us – but some will be able to pick up a bargain.
Treacys West County Hotel in Ennis, Co Clare have announced that they are offering a free stay to anyone named Patrick, Patricia, Pa or Paddy.

The offer is for one night only and will begin on 17th March (St Patrick’s Day).

The offer is only open for the first 500 people so bookings will be on a first come first served basis.
There are 70 rooms available at the B&B on St Patrick’s Day and the other 430 will be available across selected midweek dates in March.
After making a booking, customers will need to email a photo of their passport or driver’s license to the hotel.
Bookings are based on two people sharing and second person is charged at a reduced rate of €49 including breakfast.
