An Irish football club is running a raffle for its members with the star prize being a brand new beautiful four-bedroom house in Donegal.
The cost of a ticket is simply the cost of the annual membership for Aileach Football Club – €100.
The incredible prize is being given away to mark the 25th anniversary of the club and people from anywhere in the world are allowed to join to be in with a chance of winning.
There are also several fantastic runner up prizes on offer for the raffle, including an all-inclusive cruise in the Mediterranean, a 43” LG Smart TV, and season tickets to the Aviva Stadium.
The club is hoping to gain as many as 3,000 members over the coming year. The raffle draw will take place in December and one lucky winner will have a beautiful family home in Ireland worth an estimated €175,000.
Aileach club chairperson Stephen O’Donnell said: “Some of the prizes have been donated and some have been subsidized as a lot of the businesses that are supplying prizes are long-term friends of the club.
“We hope that the profit that we generate will make some small improvements to the club, but mainly the money will be used to clear off some outstanding debt from previous projects.”
So far club memberships have been purchased by people from almost every county in Ireland, as well as people living in America, Canada, Australia, the UK, France and Sweden.
