Great video of Irish couple’s journey along the Wild Atlantic Way
An Irish couple have created a fantastic video montage of their journey along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
The video by Garry and Carmel Mannion does a great job of capturing the stunning scenery that makes Ireland such a popular destination for tourists.
One of the most popular ways to do this is to drive up or down the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ which stretches from the north of the country right down to the south along the west coast.
Garry and Carmel did just that on their motorcycle and recorded their adventure. The Galway couple then edited their footage to make a wonderful video that shows off the west of Ireland in all its glory.
They start off driving along a country road alongside fields of grazing sheep with the Atlantic Ocean on the horizon.
Before long they’re taking a boat trip looking back onto the mainland, and even catching a glimpse of a basking shark who momentarily popped above the surface of the water.
They also spent some time hiking up the hills and of course stopping off for an obligatory pint of Guinness. And the fact they had lovely weather for it didn’t hurt either!
It was clearly a labour of love for the Mannions who looked to be having a great time on their travels.
Carmel told her.ie: “We’ve a great little treasure trove of an island!”
Take a look at the video below.
