Great Irish dancing kids on Little Big Shots with Steve Harvey
A group of young dancers had a great time showing of their superb Irish dance skills on American TV.
The four children, from Pasadena, California are part of ‘Cleary Irish Dance’ and appeared on Little Big Shots with host Steve Harvey.
The video starts with the children sitting on the sofa with Harvey who tells them to show him a couple of moves.
A young boy called Jonathan steps up onto the stage and says: “I’m going to teach you how to do a front click.” He then performed the move which saw him kick his foot higher than his head.
It left Harvey staring on in amazement.
After the boy asked Harvey if he thought he could do it, the audience cheered in a bid to get the host to show how he could do.
However, a nervous looking Harvey was in no mood to give it a try and said: “That is not the beginner move. You didn’t jump on your first day Jonathan!”
Jonathan then talked Harvey though the move and was rewarded with a high five from the grumpy host.
As the show went on Harvey got more into the dancing and became happy to show off his moves.
He then chatted with the kids who told him the names of some of the dance moves they perform. Harvey misheard when Jonathan told him about ‘Kilkenny races’ – believing the lad had said ‘kill Kenny the racist’.
A very patient Jonathan laughed and said: “Not racist. Races. The plural of race.”
The audience were in stitches and the kids were having a great time with Harvey. At the end of the video, Harvey gave the whole group a chance to show what they could do – and the audience loved every minute.
It is no surprise that the video has gone viral and has been viewed over one million times since it was uploaded onto the Little Big Shots YouTube channel.
