Travellers to and from Ireland will soon be able to fly to Chicago, Miami, Los Angles and several other iconic American cities.
Icelandic airline WOW has announced they will be making new routes from Cork and Dublin to the US available from summer.

Prices will reportedly start from just €139 one-way. There will be four services ran each week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Passengers should also factor in a stop-off in Icelandic capital Reykjavik.
WOW CEO Skúli Mogensen said: “We are very pleased to be flying WOW air passengers from Dublin and Cork to the Windy City. Chicago is one of the USA’s most iconic and important cities, and is steeped in history and culture.
“The addition of Chicago to WOW air’s growing list of destinations is part of our ongoing strategy to deliver even greater flexibility and convenience to our passengers, with more connections to North America via our Reykjavik hub.”
The services will be available throughout the year, and includes nine US and Canadian destinations of Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Washington D.C.
The move from WOW is another indication of the popularity and appeal of Ireland to tourists around the world.
There are millions of Americans and Canadians with Irish heritage, and many of them like to visit their relatives and soak up all that Ireland has to offer.
