Ed Sheeran divided opinion in Ireland after his appearance on the Late Late Show.
Many viewers praised the Galway Girl singer for his down-to-earth personality and likeability.
On the other hand, the ginger star also received plenty of stick for his bad language and the fact that he admitted to “drinking everyday”.
Host Ryan Tubridy was talking to the star about his perceived personality amongst the public as a “normal guy”.
Sheeran questioned if the image was accurate, and admitted that he is a bit crazy sometimes.
He revealed that he enjoys drinking with his friends, and that most creative people have a little bit of a wild side.
Sheeran used Irish music legend Shane MacGowan as an example of a creative person who famously liked to party.
The interview led to a mixed reaction on Twitter.
