Bird’s eye footage shows Ireland’s fields as a Winter Wonderland

A winter video of Ireland shows the countryside as you don’t normally see it – with the famous green fields covered in white snow for miles around.

The footage comes from videographer Paul Kolbe Hurley who shot the stunning scenes on his GoPro.

The bird’s eye was shot over Enniskillen lakes in Co Fermanagh as Hurley flew in the sky above.

He told the Irish Independent: “The view was fantastic, it was lovely to see a winter wonderland over Ireland.”

The area looks otherworldly and eerie as there is no sign of life on the fields below.

Temperatures have fallen as low as -8C over the last few days. The worst (or best) of the weather has so far hit Leinster, Ulster and Connaught, although parts of Munster also had snowfalls.
