Argentine Irish dancers performing at Ennis Street Arts Festival

A group of Irish dancers from Argentina travelled to Ireland and performed at the Ennis Street Arts Festival.

The group are called Celtic Argentina and performed the dance to music from a band called Los Paddys De Las Pampas.
The groups were in Ennis to take part in the Fleadh Cheoil music festival, which is a huge annual celebration of Irish music, dance and culture. It includes competitions that are open to people from Ireland and other countries such as the UK, USA and Canada.

The festival should see around 300,000 people head to Ennis, near Galway, to watch or take part in a range of events, concerts and sessions.
The first two dancers in the video – Andrea Debais and Juan Pablo Warpachowicz – are members of Celtic Argentina. The third dancers is Lenka Hoffmannova, aka ‘Fairy’.
Fairy is a regular dancer for Los Paddys De Las Pampas and competes in the Irish Dance Word Championships every year.
Los Paddys De Las Pampas are set to perform at The Sanctuary, in the Queen Hotel, on 16th August as part of Fleadh Cheoil.
What a talented group of performers and great to see that Irish culture is so popuar as far away as Argentina.
