Hilarious anti-tourism video from County Longford

Irish comedy actor Seamus O’Rourke is said to have gone into hiding to escape the wrath of Ireland tourism chiefs after the release of his video about Co Longford.
We’ve all seen the slick videos promoting the delights of the Giant’s Causeway in the north, or Glendalough in the east, the beaches of the sunny south east and the Cliffs of Moher in the west… but what about Co Longford stuck in the middle of the country.

It tends to get overlooked as people flock to its coastal neighbours.
Well actor and comedy writer Seamus O’Rourke has tried to set the record straight with this hilarious but deadpan look at the fun there is to be had in Longford.
Speaking in the pouring rain in his character Mossy Flood, he recounts a mind numbing tale of a trip to his local church.
It’s understood that filming had to be cut short as O’Rourke fled from local county councillors.
